Justin Krohn is a freelance editor living in Los Angeles. Born in Minneapolis, MN, he studied film editing & directing at Columbia College in Chicago. Upon receive before moving to Los Angeles to begin his career. Upon receiving his BFA, he moved to Los Angeles and as an assistant editor on low-budget films before then working on the 1st season of The Office for NBC. In 2005, he moved to New York to work for Martin Scorsese on the Bob Dylan documentary, No Direction Home, and later, the George Harrison documentary, Living in the Material World. While in New York, he worked primarily in documentaries and independent films, including Michael Haennke’s US version of Funny Games, starring Naomi Watts & Tim Roth. In 2009 he returned to Los Angeles & has since been editing on several television series including: White Collar, Deadbeat, Children’s Hospital, American Horror Story: Hotel, American Horror Story: Roanoke, Bloodline, and the reboot of Twin Peaks, currently on Showtime. Justin is currently editing the new season of Mr. Robot for USA Networks. Justin is known as a hard-working, creative, & dedicated editor.
